What a fun way to see rural Mazatlan! We will venture out into the countryside on our 4x4 ATVs, pounding through river beds, driving through small villages and experience the "real Mexico" of the Sierra Madre. The ATV tour begins from the tiny village of Veranos, followed by about a 20 minute ride to an agave plantation, where the magical Mexican liquor of tequila begins its life cycle. We'll ride our ATVs across a wooden bridge over the Presidio River to the town of Cerritos. Here we will walk a bit and see the church, the town square, local shops and of course the hospitality of the people. We'll drive through a plantation of corn, tomatoes and peppers, and then circle back for a walking tour of the town square. Then it's back on the ATVs for the ride to Veranos, where we'll enjoy a Sinaloan lunch and you'll have free time to visit the tequila distillery where you can taste different kinds of the famous Mexican liquor grown and made right here in outer Mazatlan.
