and collect information on these magnificent creatures.

The primary purpose for these
tours is to help fund whale research and preservation
efforts, and a portion of the cost of your tour
will go directly to these efforts. It's not
only the funding - your crew will be collecting
information on the ecology and behavior of the whales,
their behavior and distribution, habitats and abundance,
giving you a true hands-on experience. This

Mazatlan Ecological Whale
Watching Tour Highlights
 Set
out in a small boat, with no more than 6-10 passengers,
to achieve an up close and personal experience with
magnificent humpback whales!
Your
expert guides will share with you little
known facts about not only whales in general, but
the exact whales you're looking for - they've been
categorizing and tracking these whales for years!
Take
amazing photographs of these gentle giants,
as they work their way along the Mexican coastline!
By
taking part in this tour, you are helping to
sustain
whale research and preservation efforts in the Mazatlan
area, a truly green approach to tourism!
Runs: Twice Daily
at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM (Private Tour is
flexible to fit your schedule) - December 1st through March
31st only. The rest of the year, you can enjoy
a similar experience with dolphins on our
Swim with Wild
Dolphins
tour.
Duration: 4 Hours Approximately.
PRIVATE tour adds one additional hour (if you
wish) for even more whale time!
Departs: Free Pickup at your
hotel or the cruise ship port. Return taxi
will be arranged for your convenience but not
included in the price of the tour (it is
included on Private Tours however).

OUR ADVICE:
This
is a wonderful experience in Mazatlan. If
you've never been whale watching before, you won't
want to miss it. If you have, you will still
really enjoy it.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Are there bathrooms on board?
A: There are no bathrooms on these small boats!
Make sure to go before you get on the boat, and
if you can't hold it for three hours or so, you
may want to consider our larger boat, the Patricia
Belle.
Q: Is there shade?
A: Yes, the boats have a canopy for your comfort.
Q: What kind of boats will you use?
A: We have a 6-passenger and an 18-passenger
boat. It will depend on the group size that
day which boat we use.
