Q: IS THERE ANY GOOD SURF IN MAZATLAN?

Oh yeah!  Mazatlan is one of the best surfing locations in all of Mexico.

Q: I'M NOT VERY GOOD - ARE THE WAVES TOO BIG FOR ME?
A:
There are waves in Mazatlan to suit all skill levels, including yours.

Q: I'VE NEVER SURFED BEFORE - WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
A:
You can either rent a board and try it on your own, or you can book the Ultimate Surfing Adventure, and your guide can help you learn.

Q: WILL YOU PICK ME UP AT MY HOTEL?
A:
The Ultimate Adventure picks up at your hotel - the surfboard rentals do not.

Q: WHAT'S THE BEST TIME OF YEAR FOR SURFING IN MAZATLAN?
A:
Summer normally yields the biggest waves, while from November through April, the waves are mild except during tide change cycles when they can get pretty big.

Q: WHAT ARE THE BEST SURFING SPOTS IN MAZATLAN?
A:
There are many, but some of the best spots are Playa Bruja, about 10 minutes north of the Golden Zone, Playa Olas Altas (Spanish for "Big Waves") downtown, Cagadazo Beach near Valentino's, Playa Cerritos just south of Playa Bruja, and Playa Los Pinos.  Our Ultimate Surfing Tour visits all of these places, it just depends which is right for you at the time.
