MAZATLAN HORSEBACK RIDING FAQ's
Q: I'VE NEVER BEEN HORSEBACK RIDING - CAN
I STILL DO THESE TOURS?
A: Yes. These tours are suitable for beginners, even kids.
We have horses for all skill levels.
Q: IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT?
A: Yes - the weight limit for horseback riding
tours is 220 lbs.
Q: I'M AN EXPERIENCED RIDER - CAN I RUN WITH THE
HORSES?
A: Yes, you'll have a chance to run with the horses if you want
to, provided you are an experienced rider, but only on the Beach Ride,
not the regular Stone Island Tour or Backcountry Ride. Galloping
at water's edge along miles of virgin beaches....wow.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING WHEN GOING HORSEBACK
RIDING IN MAZATLAN?
A: You will want long pants - sounds hot, but they'll protect
your legs from rubbing on the horse and the stirrups. You'll be
a lot more comfortable. Make sure to bring sunblock.
You'll also want good riding shoes (tennis shoes are fine), and a hat
for sun protection. Don't forget your camera!
Q: IS IT OKAY IF I WANT TO STAY ON STONE
ISLAND AFTER THE TOUR?
A: Of course! If choosing the Beach Ride, you can relax
and stay for as long as you like. You can have lunch at our oceanside
palapa restaurant, swim, play beach volleyball, or enjoy any of the
other beach activities that are available on Stone Island. If
choosing the tour, then you have 3 hours on the beach to enjoy Stone
Island.
Q: CAN YOU ARRANGE A PRIVATE TOUR FOR MY
GROUP?
A: Yes, no problem at all - just call us toll-free at 1 (877) 847-7297.
