Board our one-of-a-kind Fast Super Pangas and take a short boat trip to Deer Island, home to the best snorkeling in Mazatlan.  You'll have the opportunity to see tropical fish and other beautiful and interesting sea life.  After the tour, hang out on one of Mazatlan's best beaches, enjoying the hammocks and water activities, including kayaking and beach volleyball.

Deer Island Snorkeling Tour Highlights

Board our unique Fast Super Pangas and head for the waters of Deer Island.

After a short boat ride, you'll be engulfed by the underwater world of Mazatlan, as you enjoy snorkeling with tropical fish and other sea life!

Relax and enjoy the beaches of Deer Island, where you can take up a game of beach volleyball, swim, or relax in a hammock and take it all in.

When you return to the mainland , relax on the beach at the brand new Posada Freeman Hotel, enjoying drinks at the bar, or swimming in the pool.

Cruise Passengers:  Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion.

Runs: Monday through Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Duration: 3 Hours Approximately.

Departs:  From the Heart of Mazatlan's Golden Zone. Exact meeting instructions will accompany your confirmation.

Kids:  All ages are welcome.  Kids are the same price as adults.

Notes: Fast Super Pangas is used if at least 8 people sign up for the tour that day, otherwise other types of boats may be used.  There are no lockers on the island but you can leave belongings with the staff on the mainland if you are worried about it, or they can provide you with a dry bag.  The snorkeling activity is unguided, you just snorkel on your own from the beach at your leisure.

OUR ADVICE:  

What a great deal!  Not only do you get to go to Deer Island for a couple hours, but then afterward you can relax and lounge at the hotel and beach club, enjoying the restaurant, bar, pool, and beach facilities to your heart's content.

This is an independent tour providing boat transportation to Deer Island and back, plus snorkeling equipment and access to facilities.  Once on the island, you are on your own until you are ready to go back.  There is no guide on this tour.  Please consider how independent of a traveler you are when deciding which excursion is right for you.

There are two Posada Freeman Hotels.  One is downtown on Las Olas Beach, and was built in 1944.  This one is brand new, and is between the El Cid Castilla and Inn at Mazatlan Hotels.
